Frog Eggs

The Pacific Tree Frog (Pseudacris regilla) famously singing and breeding in winter pools are a keystone species in wetland systems. They, their jelly covered eggs and their numerous tadpoles are an important food source for many creatures. The (bad) photo at the bottom shows some eggs being consumed by a female California Newt.
