Medicago polymorpha, also known as “Bur Medic”, is an annual herb from the Mediterranean basin, now found around the world. The characteristically prickly seed capsules are excellently adapted to cling to passing fur or clothes and have traveled well along paths, roadways and disturbed areas…its leaves are enjoyed as forage for livestock and humans.
