Scouler’s Willow Seed

Salix scouleriana, also known as “Fire Willow”, can be found in disturbed areas and upland sites throughout the Pacific Northwest. Their flowers are insect pollinated but they utilize tufts of silky hair to carry seeds wherever the wind blows.
