As we move into our “mediterranean”summer and no rain in site for months, we can see how land use practices are reflected in the expression of the green-and-growing plant life. Note the differences in land that is; grazed, un-grazed, mowed, forested, plowed, vineyard, etc. The native flora and fauna either thrive or decline in response.
