Pacific Giant Salamander

Dicamptodon ensatus is a top-tier predator in Northern California headwater riparian habitats, they can grow to 12 inches long and consume anything they can catch. When threatened, they can secrete a foul-tasting chemical from glands on their tail and can bark like a dog.
