Heron Feathers

Great Blue Herons are among our largest flying birds while only weighing around 4 to 5 pounds, much of their magnitude is feathery. From beak to tail there are many types of feathers serving various purposes; primaries, secondaries, rectrices, tertials, coverts, etc.
