Grasslands and grazing animals coevolved together over millions of years. Today our prairies don’t always have that optimal relationship with grazers and can be either over grazed or under grazed. With care and attention cattle can be stocked and moved in ways that are beneficial to grasslands and all the other creatures that depend on them.
