Cozy Ladybirds in Marrubium

Marrubium vulgare, “‘White Horehound”, is native to the Mediterranean and is a member of the mint family. Used in folk medicine around the world, it is known to contain many chemical compounds with antimicrobial and antioxidant qualities. These ladybugs were sitting motionless in the morning sun, each on their own fuzzy leaf. Were they just warming themselves in a cozy spot or maybe something aromatically going on??
