Caddisfly

Caddisflies are close relatives of the butterflies and moths, in the order Trichoptera, which means “hairy-wings”. This adult will live a few weeks, breeding near bodies of water where they’ll lay their eggs and their aquatic larvae will spend the year roaming around in their silk and found object protective coverings.
