Erodium botrys, also known as “Big heron bill” or “Longbeak stork’s bill” is one of the more abundant non-native forbs in our grasslands. The first rains of the season have triggered another successful onset of a new generation of Filaree, where native Lupines, Clovers and Poppies used to flourish.
