Nemophila menziesii is a California native most often found in semi-shady areas with moist soils. Those “baby-blue-eyed” petals have made it a popular cultivated presence in gardens across the country. Locally, it’s an important spring wildflower utilized by pollinators and “Florivores” (flower eating animals).
