Celebrating and Caring for the Land

A couple finches

This male House finch has his fancy breeding plumage ready for spring. Finch beaks are well adapted to picking and cracking seeds but here he’s obviously ok with munching on Willow catkins as well.
This male Lesser Goldfinch is also looking ready to make a family, the feathers on his throat are standing up because he was in full serenade, an enthusiastic 10 second long jumble of trills, buzzes and lovely clear notes.

    Dood!
    All these pics are Epic!!!
What are you thinking about relative to actually going live with this?
And when you do how are you going to make the ability to subscribe super easy? Worth noting how Jackie’s emails do it at the bottom of hers.
    Fun fun fun,
    Brock
