A Canada Goose Family

Canada geese (Branta canadensis) have, on the average, 5 goslings per clutch…sometimes fewer, sometimes as many as 12. The parents can be famously defensive while protecting their goslings and for good reason, those fuzzy babies are certainly cute but also a tasty snack for many predators including, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, hawks, gulls and even large fish and turtles.
