Celebrating and Caring for the Land

Yellow-faced Bumble Bee

Bombus vosnesenkii is believed to be the most common species of bumble bee found between Mexico and British Columbia. In the spring, new queens establish underground nesting sites which can develop into colonies of 200-300 workers. They are very important pollinators and prefer gathering pollen and nectar from a wide variety of plants…working on a balanced diet.
