Cedar Waxwings

Bombycilla cedrorum, also known as “Cherry birds” or “Cedar birds”, are a highly social, fruit-loving bird known for their elegant plumage and the waxy red wing tips that lend them their name. Waxwings are specialized fruit consumers and important seed dispersers, known to become intoxicated on fermented berries and sometimes flying drunk into fatal window strikes.
