Bristletails

Bristletails and Silverfish belong to the insect order Archaeognatha which is believed to be among the oldest lineages of insects dating back roughly 420 million years ago. These primitive wingless hexapods are important decomposers found in moist shady places like leaf litter, under bark or in rock crevices.
