Living Fossil Snakefly

With their elongated thorax, mobile head and dragonfly-like wings, Snakeflies look every bit of their 140 million year old lineage. Both larvae and adults are efficient predators of many tiny creatures, including mites, aphids, springtails, spiders, etc.
