Celebrating and Caring for the Land

Oak Titmouse

Baeolophus inornatus is a small songbird closely related to chickadees and found between Oregon and Baja California. They tend to pair for life and associate closely with oak trees, a breeding pair will claim and noisily defend their territory throughout the year. During the drought, they’ll cautiously come to the edge of a pond to sip some water and stay hydrated.
