Vulture’s Sun Salutation

Also known as the “Horaltic Pose”…said to refer to the Egyptian god of the morning sun, Horus. Positioned to catch the early morning rays after a cool wet night, vultures are commonly seen wings outstretched in an effort to dry the feathers, warm the body and possibly discourage parasites.
