Snakefly

These relatives of the lacewings, antlions and dobsonflies prey upon common garden pests throughout the west coast. The adults and larvae are both active hunters of small pestiferous critters. Their extra long neck lends to their name and gives them that much more personality and feisty charm when you meet them.
