Baby Eagles

Difficult to see from the ground but it sounds like two or three chicks in the nest this year. Nearby branches and the ground beneath the nest are white washed with droppings also known as a “mute”. By projecting their waste off the side, it keeps the nest clean and doesn’t draw attention from predators.
